B-hIL6 mice(Catalog number:B-EM-015)
Brief introduction: The IL-6 gene encodes a cytokine whose main function is B cell-mediated purulency and inflammation reaction. In addition, IL-6 protein is also an endogenous pyrogen that causes fever in autoimmune diseases or infection.
Phenotypic characteristics: The mouse IL-6 gene is replaced by the human IL-6 gene (hIL-6), resulting in mice that are fertile without growth abnormity. After the mice are treated with the human IL-6 antibody, human IL-6 can be detected through ELISA and qPCR, and is dose-dependent on human IL-6 antibody. hIL-6 mice are murine IL-6 protein negative and human IL-6 protein positive following treatment with this human IL-6 antibody.
