 IL-17 is an important proinflammatory cytokine, secreted by helper T cell 17 (Th17), congenital immune cells, and others.  It plays a critical function in the pathology of multiple inflammatory responses and autoimmune diseases.

  Brief instruction: IL-17 is an important proinflammatory cytokine, secreted by helper T cell 17 (Th17), congenital immune cells, and others.  It plays a critical function in the pathology of multiple inflammatory responses and autoimmune diseases. IL-17A is a member of IL-17 family. The signaling pathway activated by IL17A recruits neutrophile granulocytes, followed by generation of anti-bacterial factors, and promotion of  inflammatory lesions related to autoimmune diseases. This cytokine is associated with chronic inflammatory diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis, psoriasis, and multiple sclerosis.
 To prepare B-IL17-EGFP KI mice, the IRES-EGFP-SV40pA sequence is embedded into the expression frame of the IL17A gene on the mouse chromosome 1 by homologous recombination, so all tissue cells expressing IL17 can express green fluorescent protein (EGFP) simultaneously.

Phenotypic characteristics: Interleukin-17 (IL-17) is an important pro-inflammatory cytokine, and plays a critical role in  the pathology of multiple inflammatory responses and autoimmune diseases.

To prepare B-IL17-EGFP KI mice, the IRES-EGFP-SV40pA sequence is embedded into the expression frame of the IL17A gene, so all tissue cells expressing IL17 can express green fluorescent protein (EGFP) simultaneously.
