Brief introduction: The Pink1 gene encodes a mitochondrial serine/threonine kinase. Studies on Pink1-deleted mice show that this gene can affect mitochondria function and protect the mitochondrial interior from environment stress. Studies show that Pink1 deletion may cause degradation of nigra-striatum in Parkinson's disease. Support studies in multiple fields such as mitochondrial signal and Parkinson's disease.

Phenotypic characteristics: B-Pink1 KO rats have normal growth and reproduction, without obvious physiological defects.
