Business Development&Licensing Sr.Manager/Associate Director/Director
Position Summary:
Biocytogen Pharmaceuticals Co., Ltd, a global biotech specializing in gene editing, preclinical drug development, and antibody discovery. We’re looking for a Business Development & Licensing Sr.Manager/Associate Director/Director. You’ll drive the search for opportunities in out-licensing, co-development, acquisitions, and spin-offs. You’ll develop and present business cases, lead due diligence, and manage alliances. Join our team and help us make a difference in drug discovery!
Job Responsibilities:
- Identify and evaluate external business opportunities for out-licensing, co-development, structured transactions, spin-offs, and acquisitions.
- Develop persuasive business cases for prioritized external opportunities, using robust analyses, key assumptions and risks, and internal and external input to provide clear recommendations to the management team.
- Proactively lead and present external opportunities with minimal supervision.
- Lead cross-functional due diligence and alliance management, working closely with R&D, CMC, Clinical, Regulatory, Operations, and Finance teams, and providing regular executive reporting.
- Manage BD operations and transactions, from proposal to deal closure and alliance management, and contribute to the development and revision of the overall business development & licensing strategy.
- Represent Biocytogen at industry, investor, and partnering conferences, and foster strong relationships with a diverse range of pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry participants.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Master’s degree or above in science; a PhD is strongly preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in business development, R&D, or strategic planning.
- Ample knowledge of business development/licensing and pharmaceutical R&D.
- Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills.
- Demonstrated capability in communication and presentation skills tailored to different internal and external stakeholders.
- Effective interpersonal and project management skills in a dynamic and fast-paced matrix environment.
- Team spirit.
- Bilingual in Mandarin and English.
