Position Summary:

Biocytogen Boston Corp is a fast-growing biotech company with broad cutting edge technologies, including creating genetically modified mouse models and engineered cell lines, in vivo and in vitro pharmacology using target-knockout/knock in mouse models and other mouse disease models, antibody discovery service using our preparatory RenMice or wildtype mice. We are seeking a self-driven and highly motivated scientist to support all pharmacology related business activities by deeply communicating with pharmacology scientists, cross-functional teams (business, marketing, gene editing teams, etc.) and external clients or collaborators as a pharmacology project manager. This position reports to VP, Global head of preclinical pharmacology at Biocytogen.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a liaison between Boston business team and Boston and Beijing pharmacology departments, providing pharmacology related technical and scientific guidance to business team or other functional teams, clients, and external collaborators to ensure smooth pharmacology related business discussion and operations and the continued pharmacology project growth.
  • Fully understand Biocytogen pharmacology in vivo and in vitro platforms both in Boston and Beijing. Introduce pharmacology capabilities to the business team and clients and provide feedback and solutions for pharmacology related questions.
  • Provide project consultation to the business team and clients
  • Participate in communication meetings and discussions with business team and clients
  • Provide documentation and trainings to help the business team and clients with confidence to work with our pharmacology services.
  • Perform all other related duties as assigned.

Required skills and Experience:

  • Ph.D. in pharmacology, immunology, cancer biology or related field in Biomedical Sciences with minimum of 2+ years of experience in a contract research laboratory, pharmaceutical field, or biotechnology industry.
  • Experience with in vivo study design and animal research (preferably rodents).
  • Experience in working cross-functional teams and project management.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to present work to clients professionally, with confidence and poise
  • Strong human relation, communication and listening, negotiation and relationship skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • CRO study director experience will be a big plus.
