Strain specific IFNγ expression analysis in transgenic B-Tg(hIFNG/hIL26) mice by ELISA. Sera samples were collected from wild-type mice C57BL/6 mice (+/+) and transgenic B-Tg(hIFNG/hIL26) mice (TG), and analyzed by ELISA with species-specific IFNγ ELISA kit. Human IFNγ was exclusively detected in transgenic B-Tg(hIFNG/hIL26) mice (B).

Strain specific analysis of IL26 and IFNG mRNA expression in wild-type C57BL/6 mice and B-Tg(hIFNG/hIL26) mice by RT-PCR. Spleen (A) and Colon (B) RNA were isolated from wild-type C57BL/6 mice (+/+), B-Tg(hIFNG/hIL26) mice (TG) and DSS treated (3%, 6 d, drinking water) B-Tg(hIFNG/hIL26) mice (TG), then cDNA libraries were synthesized by reverse transcription, followed by PCR with human IL26 and IFNG primers. Human IFNG mRNA was detectable in B-Tg(hIFNG/hIL26) mice spleen and colon. Human IL26 mRNA was detectable in B-Tg(hIFNG/hIL26) mice spleen and colon, and the level of IL26 mRNA in colon is up-regulated after DSS treated.
