Basic Information

Targeting strategy
-
Gene targeting strategy for B-hB2M/HLA-A24.2 mice. The B2m gene (Exon1 to Exon3) of mouse was replaced by the coding sequence of human B2M gene and the whole genomic sequence of human HLA-A24.2 gene.

Protein expression analysis
-
Species-specific B2M and HLA-A protein expression analysis in wild-type and B-hB2M/HLA-A24.2 mice. Splenocytes were isolated from wild-type C57BL/6 (+/+) and homozygous B-hB2M/HLA-A24.2 (H/H) mice and analyzed by flow cytometry using species-specific anti-B2M and anti-HLA-A antibodies. Mouse B2M protein was detected in wild-type mice, while human B2M and HLA-A proteins were detected in B-hB2M/HLA-A24.2 mice.

Summary
-
Protein expression analysis:
Mouse B2M was only detectable in wild-type C57BL/6 mice. Human B2M and HLA-A were exclusively detectable in homozygous B-hB2M/HLA-A24.2 mice.
