Gene targeting strategy
-
Gene targeting strategy for B-hCD23 mice.
The exons 4-12 of mouse Cd23 gene that encode the extracellular domain were replaced by human CD23 exons 4-11 in B-hCD23 mice.

Protein expression analysis in spleen and Lymph node
-
Strain specific CD23 expression analysis in homozygous B-hCD23 mice by flow cytometry.
Spleen and lymph node were collected from wild-type C57BL/6 mice (+/+) and homozygous B-hCD23 mice(H/H), and analyzed by flow cytometry with species-specific anti-CD23 antibody. Mouse CD23 was detectable in wild-type mice. Human CD23 was exclusively detectable in homozygous B-hCD23 mice but not in wild-type mice.

Summary
-
Protein expression analysis:
Human CD23 was detectable in spleen and lymph node in homozygous B-hCD23 mice but not in wild-type mice, and mouse CD23 was detectable only in wild-type mice.
