Species-specific CLEC14A expression analysis in wild-type and humanized B-hCLEC14A mice by RT-PCR and western blot. (A) Murine Clec14a mRNA was detected in lung tissue isolated from wild-type C57BL/6 (+/+) mice, while human CLEC14A mRNA was exclusively detected in homozygous B-hCLEC14A (H/H) mice. (B) Kidney was isolated from wild-type C57BL/6 (+/+) and homozygous B-hCLEC14A (H/H) mice, and analyzed by western blot using a known cross-reactive anti-CLEC14A antibody. CLEC14A protein was detected in B-hCLEC14A mice.
