Gene targeting strategy
-
Gene targeting strategy for B-hCD9 mice.
The part of exon 2 and exons 3-8 of mouse Cd9 gene sequences were replaced by human CD9 counterpart gene sequences in B-hCD9 mice.

Detection of hCD9 protein expression in homozygous mice by flow cytometry in granulocytes
Strain specific CD9 expression analysis in homozygous B-hCD9 mice by flow cytometry. Splenocytes were collected from wild-type C57BL/6 mice (+/+) and homozygous B-hCD9 mice (H/H), and analyzed by flow cytometry with species-specific anti-CD9 antibody. Mouse CD9 was detectable in wild-type mice. Human CD9 was exclusively detectable in homozygous B-hCD9 but not in wild-type mice.
Detection of hCD9 protein expression in homozygous mice by flow cytometry in macrophages
Strain specific CD9 expression analysis in homozygous B-hCD9 mice by flow cytometry. Detection of hCD9 protein expression in homozygous mice by flow cytometry in granulocytes
Strain specific CD9 expression analysis in homozygous B-hCD9 mice by flow cytometry. Bone marrow were collected from wild-type C57BL/6 mice (+/+) and homozygous B-hCD9 mice (H/H), and analyzed by flow cytometry with species-specific anti-CD9 antibody. Mouse CD9 was detectable in wild-type mice. Human CD9 was exclusively detectable in homozygous B-hCD9 but not in wild-type mice.
