Basic Information
-
Gene targeting strategy
-
Gene targeting strategy for B-hCD9 mice. Part of exon 2 and exons 3-8 of mouse Cd9 gene sequences were replaced by human CD9 counterpart gene sequences in B-hCD9 mice.

Protein expression analysis
-
Species–specific CD9 protein expression analysis in wild-type and humanized B-hCD9 mice. Splenocytes were isolated from wild-type C57BL/6 (+/+) and homozygous B-hCD9 (H/H) mice and analyzed by flow cytometry using species-specific anti-CD9 antibodies. Murine CD9 protein was detected in wild-type mice, while human CD9 protein was detected in B-hCD9 mice.
