Basic Information
-
Targeting Strategy
-
Gene targeting strategy for B-hALCAM mice.
Exons 2-14 of mouse Alcam, which encode the extracellular domain, were replaced by human ALCAM exons 2-14 in B-hALCAM mice.

ALCAM Expression in Blood Leukocytes
-
Strain specific ALCAM expression analysis in C57BL/6 wild-type mice and homozygous B-hALCAM mice by flow cytometry. Blood from wild-type C57BL/6 mice (+/+) and homozygous B-hALCAM mice (H/H) was analyzed with species-specific anti-ALCAM antibody. Mouse ALCAM was exclusively detectable in wildtype mice. Human ALCAM was exclusively detectable in homozygous B-hALCAM mice.
-
ALCAM Expression in Bone Marrow Populations
-
Strain specific ALCAM expression analysis in C57BL/6 wild-type mice and homozygous B-hALCAM mice by flow cytometry. Bone marrow from wild-type C57BL/6 mice (+/+) and homozygous B-hALCAM mice (H/H) was analyzed with species-specific anti-ALCAM antibody. Mouse ALCAM was exclusively detectable in wildtype mice. Human ALCAM was exclusively detectable in homozygous B-hALCAM mice.
-
ALCAM Expression in Splenocytes
-
Strain specific ALCAM expression analysis in C57BL/6 wild-type mice and homozygous B-hALCAM mice by flow cytometry. Splenocytes from wild-type C57BL/6 mice (+/+) and homozygous B-hALCAM mice (H/H) and analyzed with species-specific anti-ALCAM antibody. Mouse ALCAM was exclusively detectable in wildtype mice. Human ALCAM was exclusively detectable in homozygous B-hALCAM mice.
