Western blot analysis of ITGA7 protein expression in homozygous B-hITGA7 mice. Various tissue lysates were collected from wild-type C57BL/6 mice (+/+) and homozygous B-hITGA7 mice (H/H), and then analyzed by western blot with anti-ITGA7 antibody(thermofisher PA5-37435, cross-reactive between human and mouse). 40 μg total proteins were loaded for western blotting analysis. ITGA7 was detected in stomach and lung.

Strain specific analysis of ITGA7 mRNA expression in wild-type C57BL/6 mice and B-hITGA7 mice by RT-PCR. Stomach RNA were isolated from wild-type C57BL/6 mice (+/+) and homozygous B-hITGA7 mice (H/H), then cDNA libraries were synthesized by reverse transcription, followed by PCR with mouse or human ITGA7 primers. Mouse Itga7 mRNA was detectable only in wild-type C57BL/6 mice. Human ITGA7 mRNA was detectable only in homozygous B-hITGA7 mice but not in wild-type mice.
