mRNA expression analysis
Strain specific analysis of JAM3 gene expression in wild-type (WT) mice and B-hJAM3 mice by RT-PCR. Mouse Jam3 mRNA was detectable only in lung of WT mice (+/+). Human JAM3 mRNA was detectable only in homozygous B-hJAM3 mice (H/H) but not in WT mice (+/+).
Protein expression analysis
Strain specific JAM3 expression analysis in homozygous B-hJAM3 mice by flow cytometry. Hematopoietic stem cells (HSCs) from bone marrow were collected from wild type (WT) mice (+/+) and homozygous B-hJAM3 mice (H/H), and analyzed by flow cytometry with species-specific anti-JAM3 antibody. Human JAM3 was exclusively detectable in homozygous B-hJAM3 mice (H/H) but not in WT mice.
