Basic Information

Gene targeting strategy
-
Gene targeting strategy for B-hCCR1 mice.
The exon 2 of mouse Ccr1 gene that encode the extracellular domain were replaced by human CCR1 exon 2 in B-hCCR1 mice.
-
Protein expression analysis
-
Strain specific CCR1 expression analysis in homozygous B-hCCR1 mice by flow cytometry. Peritoneal exudative macrophages were collected from wild-type mice (+/+) and homozygous B-hCCR1 mice (H/H), and analyzed by flow cytometry with species-specific anti-CCR1 antibody. Mouse CCR1 was detectable in wild-type mice. Human CCR1 was exclusively detectable in homozygous B-hCCR1 but not in wild-type mice.

Summary
-
Protein expression analysis:
Human CCR1 was detectable on peritoneal exudative macrophages in homozygous B-hCCR1 mice but not in wild-type mice, and mouse CCR1 was detectable only in wild-type mice.
