Description

Homozygous mice for the targeted mutation are viable, fertile, normal in size and do not display any gross physical or behavioral abnormalities. 

Phenotype Analysis

• Analysis of liver by immunofluorescence (IF).

Control: without tamoxifen treatment; HNF4α: a regulator of liver-specific gene expression.Immunofluorescence for HNF4α, tdTomato, and DAPI on liver sections shows Alb-iCreERT2(Mut/+), CAG-LSL-tdTomato(Mut/+) mice labeled almost all hepatocytes after tamoxifen treatment.

• Analysis of kidney by immunofluorescence (IF).

Control: without tamoxifen treatment; HNF4α: a regulator of liver-specific gene expression.Immunofluorescence for HNF4α, tdTomato, and DAPI on kidney sections shows Alb-iCreERT2(Mut/+), CAG-LSL-tdTomato(Mut/+) mice were not labeled after tamoxifen treatment.
