Gene targeting strategy for B-hTL1A mice. The exons 1-4 of mouse Tl1 gene that encode the extracellular domain were replaced by human TL1 exons 1-4 in B-hTL1A mice.

mRNA expression analysis

Strain specific analysis of TL1 gene expression in wild type (WT) mice and B-hTL1A mice by RT-PCR. Mouse Tl1a mRNA was detectable only in lung of WT mice (+/+). Human TL1A mRNA was detectable only in homozygous B-hTL1A mice (H/H) but not in WT mice (+/+).

Protein expression analysis

Strain specific TL1A expression analysis in homozygous B-hTL1A mice by flow cytometry. Lung endothelial cells were collected from wild type (WT) mice (+/+) and homozygous B-hTL1A mice (H/H), and analyzed by flow cytometry with anti-TL1A antibody. TL1A was detectable in WT mice (+/+) and homozygous B-hTL1A mice (H/H) due to the cross-reactivity of antibodies.

Protein expression analysis:
