Gene targeting strategy
-
Gene targeting strategy for B-hCD95 mice. The exons 2-7 of mouse Fas gene that encode the extracellular domain and transmembrane domain were replaced by human FAS exons 2-7 in B-hCD95 mice.

Protein expression analysis
-
Species-specific CD95 protein expression analysis in wild-type and humanized B-hCD95 mice. Spleen T cells were isolated from wild-type C57BL/6 mice (+/+) and homozygous B-hCD95 (H/H) mice and analyzed by flow cytometry using species-specific anti-CD95 antibodies. Murine CD95 protein was detected in wild-type mice, while human CD95 protein was detected in B-hCD95 mice.
