The exons 1-8 of human ILT7 gene that encode the full-length protein were inserted into the Hipp11 gene locus site in B-hILT7 mice.

Strain specific ILT7 expression analysis in B-hILT7 mice by flow cytometry. Splenocytes were collected from wild-type C57BL/6 mice (+/+) and homozygous B-hILT7 mice (H/H) and analyzed by flow cytometry with species-specific anti-human ILT7 antibody. Human ILT7 was detectable in pDC of homozygous B-hILT7 mice.
